Confirmed Modern Warfare 2 prestige symbols
Here are the rumored "confirmed prestige symbols" so Im not 100% sure if these are the real things but they do look cool.Modern Warfare 2 controllers and other accessories
MadCatz is releasing modern warfare 2 controllers and mic's for ps3, and xbox 360. For the computer gamers they have modern warfare 2 mouses and keyboards.
Ps3 accessories:
-Wireless controller: you can pick from snow white camo and dark camo, both have grips on the hand sides of the controller. On the back of the controller there are two "combat buttons" which you can assign diffrent controll buttons to each back combat botton. The controllers also have new and improved analog modules. Each controller comes with its own case designed after an ammo pack. This controller will cost $50.
- mic: The mic is a dark camo with the MW2 logo, 2.0 integrated blue tooth, which you can aslo you with a computer or cell phone. Im not sure is theres a throught vibration headset for the ps3.
Xbox 360 accessories:
-Wired controller: Comes in snow white camo and dark camo, has the grips on the hand sides, and also has the two combat buttons and the new analog sticks. Its the same as the ps3 controller just in the xbox 360 shape and it doesnt come in a wireless version.
-Faceplate: The 360 will have modern warfare 2 faceplates.
-mic: there is a wired headset for the 360 called the throught vibration mic, which is like the military uses, the mic picks up ur vibrations not sounds

call of duty modern warfare 2 beta for ps3?
Ive seen some videos today about modern warfare 2 coming out with a beta for ps3. If youve seen the trailers and other videos you should know they are for xbox 360, I know because when someone has to reload their weapon it says X which is the xbox 360 control for reload.
So some people think theres a ps3 beta and making videos on youtube, but those are all fake, there might be a beta in the making, but Im not sure.

New ps3 firmware 3.0 update. friends list.
I forgot to mention something in my last post about the new ps3 firmware update 3.0, the friends list are different too. There's a new look to it. I don't like how the new lists looks i like the old one allot better.
Go download it, and tell me what you thing about it too.
Ps3 firmware update 3.0
I've seen a few videos of this new Playstation network update and i just downloaded it 9:00 september 1st. I think this new update is very good, i like all the new features except i wish they wouldn't of put another playstation store icon in the game section.
One of the new features is "what's new", I really like this feature because instead of going onto the playstation store and having to look at all the new stuff on each section in games and videos, now you can just go to the what's new section and you'll see all the new games, videos, wallpapers, ect.
My favorite of the new features is the bar on the top right of the screen that says how many friends are online and how many new messages you have.
I liked the xbox 360 dashboard and online better than psn network, but overall i like the ps3. But now sense this new update ps3 has some of the good features that xbox live does.

Xbox 360 elite super edition! and price drop!
Spotted on amazon, the xbox 360 elite super edition will be a regular elite system but with a 250 gig hard drive. It will also include 2 wireless controllers and forza 3. This super elite bundle will cost you $400.
As of today (8-30-09) the regular elite system has a price drop of $100!

Ps3 slim
My thoughts on the ps3 slim: I have a 60 GB ps3 and i wouldn't trade it for the ps3 slim, but i do like it. I think its good that ps3 finally had the price drop on the 80 GB and bring out the new slim as the same price. I would like the 120 GB hard-drive thought thats a major plus for me, i like to have lots of games on my ps3. The ps3 slim is the only system that really uses the less energy so its pretty good all around, exept the looks. I like the original ps3 shiny look a lot better than that flat black on the ps3 slim.
I kind of new there was going to be a ps3 slim out sometime because after ps2 was ps2 slim then after psp was psp slim, so it all comes together.
